This weekend the WordPress community in Bulgaria is preparing for WordCamp Sofia 2016 . It is the key WordPress ecosystem event, hosted at Arena Mladost, in the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia.
Those who follow our company blog already know that DevriX is a proud bronze sponsor of the event. Three of our team members will take part in WordCamp Sofia, 2016 as speakers on the Conference Day – Mario, Stanko and Andrey.
Mario Peshev – our well-spoken CEO, is going to talk about a business-centric WordPress for plugin developers. The presentation is called – “Business and Monetization Opportunities for Developers”. Mario is one of the Core contributors of WordPress. We can learn a lot from this guy given his diverse experience, in both the technical and business world, as he has collaborated with large business operations since 2006.
Stanko Metodiev is the other Core contributor that is going to present at this year’s WordCamp from team DevriX. He is going to talk about why, “WordPress Is Small and It Doesn’t Work for BIG Things”, and explain the common misconceptions in that field.
And last, but not least, our Head of Sales – Andrew, who will reveal the sales part of the business by giving you, “10 Tips on How to Engage with Enterprise Level Prospects”.
You can find the complete schedule of WordCamp Sofia here: https://2016.sofia.wordcamp.org/schedule/. There are still tickets left, so make sure you’ll grab yours!
We are going to spend quality time with our good friends from the amazing Bulgarian WordPress community, and hopefully meet even more amazing contributors at this year’s event.
DevriX has always been a part of the WordPress ecosystem, we love everything about it and we want to continue in the same direction. Everything we do is aimed at building and supporting a strong and healthy society, which is why we can’t wait to visit this year’s event.
But Hold on, There Is More to Come!
Of course, a Contributors Day is a standard addition to a WordCamp weekend, too.
After all, what is a WordCamp without a day for giving back to the WordPress community and ecosystem in every way possible? Workshops for public speaking, translations, contributing to the Core will also be presented on Sunday, October 23rd.
So grab your laptop, bring your positive vibes and energy to learn and expand your knowledge. We guarantee that this event will bring the magic of WordPress to everyone who participates in this year’s WordCamp!
See you there! 🙂
