What makes WordPress really stand out is the great people who are involved in it.
WordCamps are all about everything WordPress related. It’s where business owners, non-profits, bloggers, marketers, and developers meet and talk about the most excellent CMS of all times.
It all started in 2006 in San Francisco, where Matt Mullenweg organized the first WordCamp. So far over 1,000 WordCamps have been organized worldwide! Wow!

WordCamp Sofia 2019
Date: 9-10 November 2019
Place: Sofia, Bulgaria
Venue: Sofia Tech Park, 111 Tsarigradsko Shousse Blvd.
The conference day begins at 8:00 AM on November 10th (Sunday). This year the main conference and the Contributor Day are switched and the following will happen the day before – on Saturday (November 9th), instead the day after. This is done to prevent an overlap with other technical conferences happening locally. Scroll down for more info!

WordCamp Sofia 2019 Sessions
This year ten exceptional speakers from the community are going to share their know-how and experience in the field of WordPress.
One of our top tech talents – Bojidar Valchovski is stepping in to tell us more about advertising on WordPress and scaling the platform for websites with more than 100M monthly visitors. This is also his debut as a WordCamp speaker, and we couldn’t be more proud!
Bojidar has been overseeing multiple of our high-scale publishers and we are excited to hear some of his top tricks during the session.

Contributor Day
Every WordCamp has a Contributor day as well.
WordPress is an opensource CMS, meaning that it’s entirely dependant on people like you and me to contribute to making new features accessible and usable by all.
Team DevriX is actively involved in the WordPress community since the early days. Our team has grown to fifty, and we can brag with 11 WordPress core contributors, a dozen translators, and numerous patches in every major release since WordPress 3.7!
This year the Contributor day would be on the 9th of November and everyone is more than welcome to join!
We decided to warm up with a Contributor Weekend at the office!
