DevriX 2025 In Review

DevriX 2025 In Review

Every year brings new challenges, but some years fundamentally reshape how a company operates, grows, and delivers value.

2025 was one of those defining years for DevriX – from industry recognition and technical awards to continued leadership in WordPress, RevOps, and digital sustainability, this year reinforced a simple truth: execution, alignment, and trust compound over time.

Here’s a look back at what made 2025 a milestone year for us at DevriX.

A Year of Focused Execution

2025 marked DevriX’s evolution from a high-performance WordPress engineering company into a RevOps-led growth partner for complex, scaling organizations.

Along our journey, many things happened:

  • Devrix turned 15! In the agency world, it’s a real milestone. Markets shift, technologies change, teams burn out, or focus gets lost. Reaching 15 years means DevriX has grown through multiple tech cycles, economic downturns, platform shifts, and changing client expectations – while staying relevant and independent. This celebration represents consistency, resilience, and long-term thinking. More importantly, it reflects 15 years of building trust with clients, investing in people, contributing to the WordPress ecosystem, and evolving from a development-focused team into a strategic digital growth partner.

  • Digital SustainabilityDevriX was selected as a finalist for the Green Innovation Award at the Forbes Bulgaria Innovation Forum & Awards 2025. Throughout the year, we launched an educational campaign to raise awareness around sustainable digital practices, both internally and externally.

In parallel, we improved our internal workflows – optimizing performance, reducing unnecessary digital overhead, and embedding sustainability thinking into how we design, build, and scale digital platforms.

  • Company Transformation: As our services evolved, so did DevriX. Over the past year, we started a company-wide transformation to better align our internal structure with where the business is heading – particularly with the expansion into RevOps-led growth and GTM execution. This shift didn’t start overnight. Our services have been evolving, requiring new expertise, clearer ownership, and more integrated processes across strategy, marketing, technology, and operations. We’re actively refining how teams collaborate, how decisions are made, and how value is delivered to clients. It’s an ongoing process, but a necessary and exciting one!
  • Our anniversary was also featured on Entrepreneur.
  • Our annual summer internship was held with 7 amazing students from TUES.
  • We threw a party for WordPress’ 22nd anniversary.
  • We were also recognized by Pagely with the Performance Optimization Excellence award for pushing speed, scalability, and stability beyond platform limits.
  • DevriX actively participated and sponsored WordCamp Sofia 2025, with one of our colleagues, Lachezar Gadzhev, presenting a great lecture. And colleaguess from the leadership – Stanko Metodiev and Hristina Bancheva – joining the organizing team.

  • We got featured on Forbes Bulgaria for how web development can be efficient, environmentally friendly, and business-oriented.
  • We were part of the annual TUES Hack/Fest event.
  • We finalized a 1.5-year internal training program designed to help teams build the skills, mindset, and cross-functional understanding needed for high-performing teams.
  • We have participated in 12 different charity initiatives through the DX Charity Kitchen event!
  • We published 205 articles – check out our blog.

Social Responsibility

We’ve always been committed to social causes and will continue to support our community – be there when it matters. In 2025, we supported 12 initiatives through our Charity Kitchen activities, and supported the WordPress ecosystem by organizing and sponsoring local events and meetup and contributing back to the open source system.

Never stop learning and Be a community citizen are two of our essential core values. This year, we welcomed 7 students from TUES, mentored them, and hopefully helped them grow.

Internship TUES grads

While we are sure the internship was very educational to these young talents, we also learned a thing or two. And that’s precisely the point – to share knowledge, to grow, and have fun along the way.

Our Love For WordPress Never Wanes

WordPress turned 22 in 2025. On May 27th, we celebrated the platform that powers our passion, and around 43% of the websites around the world! Everyone who joined the DevriX party was there to toast to open-source, community, and endless creativity.

WP 22nd

We also sponsored WordCamp Sofia 2025, where over 400 attendants listened to many interesting lectures, including one from our very own Engineering Lead, Lachezar Gadzhev, about WordPress + Cloudflare: speed and security. Not only that, our booth had a very fun and interesting game that helped us meet new and old faces all day.

Successful Day at WordCamp

And of course, this year our colleagues were contributors to the latest WordPress 6.9 “Gene” update as well, thank you to Lachezar GadzhevStanko MetodievNeycho Kalaydzhiev and Rolly Bueno for your work!

Events And Networking

The year was also full of events to go to, such as being invited as a finalist nominee at the Forbes Bulgaria Innovation Forum & Awards 2025 for Green Innovation.

We also joined Tuk-Tam Hive 2025 as a sponsor. The event gave us the chance to connect with the community, exchange knowledge, and learn from a strong lineup of speakers.

Besides being finalists, DevriX was also featured on Forbes, reinforcing our position as a trusted voice in digital growth, sustainability, and operational excellence.

For the past few years, we’ve also had the privilege of sponsoring and mentoring at this incredible student-led hackathon by TUES, and were thrilled to do it again! It was a great day of innovation by the next generation.

Our Clients

In 2025, we worked with 31 clients. We’re grateful for the trust they placed in us and proud of the results we achieved together. You can explore our case studies to see how these partnerships translated into measurable growth.

Looking Ahead

The year may have come to an end, but there are always new horizons waiting to be explored. As we turned 15, we looked back and appreciated all of the challenges we overcame, how much stronger they made us, and how and what they taught us.

Technology keeps advancing, new approaches to sustainability unlock, and no matter what the new thing is, we will always do our best to stay relevant. Here’s to a promising and prosperous 2026!
