2024 was a year full of exciting events, networking, team success, and hard work. It was such a dynamic year that we didn’t realize how fast December came. Now, it’s time for some reflection on what we achieved as a company over the last 12 months.
DevriX 2024 in Review
- We turned 14! A celebration was mandatory, so that’s just what we did in typical DX fashion – work hard, party hard.
- Our Charity Kitchen initiatives supported 10 initiatives.
- 8 students from TUES joined our annual summer internship program.
- We celebrated the 21st anniversary of WordPress.
- DevriX actively participated in WordCamp Sofia 2024, sponsoring the event, with two of our team members – Stanko Metodiev and Yovo Kolev being speakers at the conference.

Giving Back, Our Social Responsibility
Our commitment to social causes and willingness to improve our community and planet are ongoing. In 2024, we supported 10 initiatives through our Charity Kitchen activities.
Our core values preach to never stop learning and to be a community citizen. We combine both with our summer internship program. This year, we welcomed 8 students from TUES, sharing our knowledge and mentoring them.
We are always excited to work with young talents, and help them develop their personal and professional skills. Plus, you can always learn something new from the new generation.
Needless to say, we have continued our partnership with AZTUES, as we believe in our youth, and hope we can help secure a better future for them.
To WordPress With Love
WordPress turned 21 years old in 2024, and there was no way we would miss the occasion. We organized a special party to celebrate, network with the WordPress community, and honor our beloved CMS.
But that’s not all! We took part in numerous WordPress-related events, such as the WordPress Bulgaria User Group (WPBGUG) meetings.
We also had a blast at WordCamp Sofia 2024, where over 500 attendants listened to many interesting lectures, including two from our very own – QA Team Lead Yovo Kolev (“Effective QA Strategy for WordPress Project”) and CTO Stanko Metodiev (“Mastering the Art of WordPress: 13 Years of Advanced Tips and Tricks”).
Our team was also very active during Contributor Day, suggesting improvements to the WordPress Core, translating parts of WordPress to Bulgarian, and providing WordPress Support.
Last but not least, we would like to acknowledge our team members Todor Manoilov and Plamen Georgiev for being among the contributors to WordPress 6.7.
Community Events and Networking
2024 was also a year full of events and networking opportunities. We took part in Future Forum by Webit at the National Palace of Culture. Our booth is buzzing with excitement as attendees tackle the quiz, engage with our team, and uncover fresh strategies to elevate their businesses.
Our CTO Stanko Metodiev and our Head of Marketing Hristina Bancheva went to the Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Association’s (BESCO) very first Hall of Fame ceremony.
Our Head of Marketing, Hristina Bancheva was featured in Forbes Bulgaria, discussing how our innovative Experimentation as a Service can help our clients strive and flourish in the current market situation.
In other news, our CEO Mario Peshev held a webinar on “Adapting to Lengthy Sales Cycles in B2B Markets: Strategies, Tools & Metrics”.
Mario was also a guest panelist at Digital4Sofia Online Advertising Conference 2024, presenting “Confessions of an AI-Prepared Speaker: From Zero to Keynote Hero”.
Members of our team were at the 10th annual hackathon Hack TUES X, mentoring the young talents, and helping students realize their projects.
This year, DevriX not only participated in the Tuk-Tam Hive event, we were also official sponsors. We are thrilled to have some great networking opportunities, and met very interesting entrepreneurs, marketers, and young talents.
It’s also worth mentioning that our CTO Stanko Metodiev was part of the Drupal Developer Days, discussing open-source collaboration.
